IS IT CONTAGIOUS?

by chicken43, May 25, 2009 01:26PM
MY DAD IS A BED-FAST PATIENT.  ONE OF HIS SITTERS CALLED AND SAID SHE HAD A YEAST INFECTION AND COULD NOT SIT TONIGHT.  ARE ALL YEAST INFECTIONS OR ONLY CERTAIN ONES?

oh i just noticed its tagged as vaginal im sorry but i dont think ur dad would catch that unless they were having sex and even in that case its so rare for men to catch it from their partner.

No it wouldn't be contagious since I'm assuming they are not having sex. She most likely called in because she is too uncomfortable, she doesn't want to be itching down there and be in pain while caring for your dad. I doubt she is making it up since that is a pretty embarrassing thing to tell someone you work for.
