I KINDA KNOW THE DISCOMFORT YOUR GOING THROUGH. IVE HAD THE PARAGARD FOR 3 MONTHS. THIS MONTH MY PERIOD HAS BEEN NONSTOP. I THINK IT ISNT NORMAL AT ALL TO LOSE SO MUCH BLOOD SPECIALLY FOR SIX MONTHS . IM FOR SURE HAVING IT REMOVED RIGHT AWAY. HOPEFULLY YOULL DO THE SAME. REMEMBER ITS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SRRY.

The bleeding is light to moderate, and it's not painful. Just annoying

do you have the mirena IUD.  Mirena IUD when inserted can cause spotting or light bleeding for a few months and after that it might stop your period altogether.  I have the paragard and i spotted for 2-3 days only after insertion.  I hope everything works fine for you.  If you are concerned with your doctor not caring about it. I might suggest you to contact another gyne in your area.

When I had mine put in, I only spotted for a few days. Are you bleeding heavy or just spotting? If it's heavy, then I would talk to your Dr. again or ask a different Dr. If the bleeding is heavy then I would think you are losing way too much blood.
Good luck and I hope the bleeding stops! I know that has to be misserable!
