I'm 15, and Scared I Could Be Pregnant

by terrifiedteenager, Aug 12, 2009 10:15AM
I just lost my virginity to my boyfriend and I just recently and unprotected intercourse for only a very short while, not even two minutes, until we decided we thought it was best to wait until marriage. He did not ejaculate, inside of me or anything of the sort, and two days later I had my period, which lasted a normal amount of time.
But still I'm scared that I could be pregnant. I'm extremely paranoid about it, and I've been losing sleep over it. It has been about two weeks since the event and I've just been diagnosed with scarlet fever, so I've been feeling very sick (high fever, head aches, body aches, stomach aches, rash) but I'm not sure if it's just that I've been sick, or if it's something else.
I'm absolutely terrified of the though of being pregnant, I'm only fifteen years old and have a whole life in front of me. I'm absolutely paralyzed in fear, and nothing my boyfriend is saying is making me feel any better.
Is there any way that I could be pregnant, and if so, what should I do?
I'm so scared.

If you had a normal period then chances are you are NOT pregnant. If it makes you feel better take a test and see for yourself. Please make sure if you are going to try sex again, PLEASE use protection. You are so young and not ready for a baby plus not only that you could get an STD from unprotected sex.

its not likely your pregnant. its not likely at all you would have been ovulating that close to your period.

if your terrified of the thought of being pregnnat you need to either get on birth control and use condoms...or just wait like you want to now.

take a test if you want. but its not likely at all your pregnant

You're not pg.  You are too young to be having sex, IMHO, but if you are going to do it be smart about it.  Protect yourself.

Don't worry about it. When I lost my virginity I was the same way, very paranoid and worried for months. Since you had your period chances are your not pregnant, Its very scary and puts a huge burden on your conscience when you decide to have unprotected sex. . . trust me I have been there. If your still not sure take a test or two to put your mind at ease.

And if you decide to keep having sex get on birth control(I suggest Mirena) or use a condom. NEVER EVER have sex without a condom either, you never truly know if your partner is faithful, especially teen boys!

Remember:safe sex is the best sex!
