Im I Pregnant

by Twinkle Toes, Nov 04, 2005 12:00AM
My period is due today and there is no sign of it!  Normally the day before I'd have some slight discharge but nothing, clean as a whistle!  My breasts have been painful to touch the last few days but I just put that down to my period being due.  I've had stomach pains the last two days but also put that down to stomach pains.  I don't want to get too excited but do these symptoms sound like i could be????

I have had a total of 5 pregnancies and have 2 children. Whenever a friend comes to me wondering if they are pregnant I always ask if their breast hurt to lay on? This is a positive sign that you could be pregnant but I would definately see your doctor becouse if you are having stomach pain that may be something to worry about if you are indeed pregnant. Even if you do get your period it wouldnt hurt to have a pregnancy test done since from experience I always have my period for the first three months of my pregnancies.

Not all women have sore boobs when they first get pregnant.  Looking for symptoms is not a good way to tell if you're pregnant, I didn't have any a month ago and I'm now 7 weeks pregnant, (no sore boobs, no morning sickness, nothing, just a missed period).  If you've missed your period, take a hpt.  Since you've already missed your period, there's a very good chance you are preg since that is the first accurate sign of pregnancy.  Many women, when they think they might be preg., can fool their body into thinking they are, then they get all the symptoms when they're really not.  Take a hpt and let us know!

Unless you are on birth control, periods can vary in length, flow, cycle length.  I would give it a few more days.

I did not have sore boobs until later during my pregnancy.  When I think back...I was VERY VERY TIRED.  I also felt a little but of pressure in my lower abdomen....I had ALL of these when I found out I was pregnant ONE day after my missed period.  Take a test...let us know and good luck.

First you should take a pregnancy test. However I will tell you that for the past three years my periods have become increasingly odd and irregular. I have missed some periods in that time span. I even recently this year missed two months in a row and thought for sure I was pregnant and wasn't. No symptoms doesn't mean anything just like having symptoms doesn't mean you're pregnant. As a woman our bodies do some pretty wierd things. All I can tell you is the same cliche. Take a home test.
