I'm breaking out and I wanna vent!!!!

Happy Friday to everyone!!
Ok. I am fed up!! I keep breaking out all over my face, it's driving me crazy!!! I've never had pimples before until I got pregnant and then I started getting a new one everyday it seems like. I'm not pregnant anymore (had m/c one month ago) but it seems like I keep breaking out. I went to a derm and he put me on antibiotics (minocycline). Granted, it could be worse but I just feel so gross--like a leper!! Is anyone else having this problem? I am so scared this is never going to go away... :(

Tea tree oil is good for acne.  It doesn't clear up immediately, but it is natural.  Just an alternative to try if you're like me and don't care for a lot of chemicals.

I'm a big fan of Proactive Solution too. I am currently pregnant and thankfully haven't needed to use it, but a couple years ago I bought it through the infomercial and it really worked...  You can use it as a spot treater or a full system.

Good luck.  It's never any fun when you feel like you can't face the world b/c of your skin- I totally understand.

By the way- you can now get Proactive at some booths at different malls- "As Seen on TV" booths or stores, so you don't have to order via the phone... but if you get it through their website or by watching the infomarcial, you can get your money back I think if it doesn't work.

Proactive does work well as I have been on it for a while off and on. My only complaint has been to watch what you wear while washing your face and don't use your darkest or favorite washcloths to take it off as it bleaches fabric.

I used it when I was younger and then started again with my first pregnancy. It really does make a difference--with my hormones the way they are again I might have to break it out a third time. lol

I know what your going through.  I started having crappy skin after my D&C due to a miscarriage in March of this year.  Even though it's been that many months ago, I still have breakouts.  But, it's beginning to get better.

Oh yesh, for those stubborn ones, use toothepaste, not the gel, the paste. Sleep with it on and it will dry those buggers up!

I finally tried Proactive...You do need 3-6 weeks of twice a day use to get optimum results.  I am in the same situation....I was pregnant for 2 months, and breakouts were making me insane.  I recently miscarried last weekend.  I had been on antibiotics (tetracycline) for breaking out when I was a teen, and didn't get very good results.  I ordered proactive about 4 weeks ago, and my face is clearing up, but my forehead isn't.  I'm going to give it a few more weeks...it does have a money back guarantee.  I'm in my 30's, and soooo done with pimples!  Good Luck to no more break outs!!

I usually don't endorse product in TV, but I bought that proactive solution as I too started to break out whaen I became pregnant, and the difference is amazing, and it happened within three days, I am clear and softer skinned than I have been in years.
