I'm on Trinessa Low and missed pills...

While taking my 5 sugar pills, I missed the last two, I know you don't technically have to take them, but I always do to stay in the habit. Well I took the two to make up for missing them along with the new pack with the white pills and have had my period ever since, going on 7 days with cramping and heavy bleeding, but the bleeding has since slowed yesterday. The cramping is different than what I have felt before, not constant. Comes and goes. Should I be alarmed, call my doctor?

Are you saying you took two extra of the pills that you would ordinarily just take five of, at the same time as taking your first two white pills? If so, you could check in with the doctor, or a pharmacist, or just the FAQs questions for Trinessa. If they really are just placebos or vitamins [in some bcps, the five "break" pills are just iron tablets] and not progesterone, they shouldn't affect you when you go back on the white pills, even if you took them at the same time as two of the white pills. That would suggest that you're having breakthrough bleeding, which would itself suggest you aren't protected this month and should be talking to your doctor about dosage.
