I'm not under any noticeable stress, I don't work.........And the sweats are random and can happen during anything but more late at night when I am doing nothing at all, maybe up here on the computer or down stairs watching TV.............it happens when I'm sitting having lunch with my friends or when I'm shopping, even when I'm showering...........because of all the excursiveness in my diet I have gained over the last year over 40lb. So for about the last 6 months I have changed my diet, to less than 1000 calories a day, and on foods I can easily do the math on. Mainly freshies and small portion meals. But that doesn't stop me from gaining weight. I can go a whole week eating an egg white plain with a half an orange for breakfast a light snack of a handful of nuts then a bread free turkey and lettuce sandwich for lunch and a low fat low calorie yogurt for a snack and a no dressing salad with lean meat slices for dinner every day for a week and I will still gain weight and it's not normal weight it is only on my face, trunk area, and the back of my neck....this is weird stuff, and the doctors office said they can't see me till December............so I'm just puzzled and in my frustration went on here for advice............ty for your response by the way
I would say it's definitely hormones! I highly doubt it's menopause, you're way too young for that. It would be incredibly rare for a woman your age to go through that, unless you have an autoimmune or chromosomal disorder...which is also rare.
Have you been under a lot of stress lately? If so, that could play be a major factor with the irregular periods, excessive fatigue, and it probably has a lot to do with the excessive hunger and urination. Stress is the Devil...lol! With stress, the whole body changes drastically because stress takes up all of your energy, which burns your calories, which causes you to be hungry, etc...
When you say that you have "hot flashes", do you mean that you just break out in a sweat suddenly, or do you just get hot because you've done some physical activity, or you're in a warm environment? If you're breaking out into a sudden sweat to where it's pouring down your face, like you've been jogging when you haven't, then that is a cause for some concern, but if you just get hot without pouring sweat, you probably could just be a hot-natured person.
I suggest you make and appointment with your doctor, and he/she can do blood tests to find out where your hormone levels stand so they can get to the bottom of what's going on.
Good luck to you!
