Implanon and Breast Pain

In two months it'll come to the time when I should have my contraceptive implant taken out. It's been almost three years now and I started noticing some changes in my body, namely swollen, painful breasts. Did anybody else have the same experience? Am I right to connect painful breasts with a termination of the implant? And if it is in fact "wearing off", does the possibility of getting pregnant increase even if the full 3 years haven't come to an end? Thank you!
