Incision Tunnel post laproscopic hsyterectomy

I had a laproscopic Hysterectomy on 8/25/11 without any complications but since then I have always noticed an area in my umbilical area at the top of the incision area that appeared to be a tiny brown spot like a mole. The area has always seemed to be about the size a little bigger than a pinpoint. Noticing it this am I thought it looked a little larger and realized it is actually a tunnel. There is no pain, redness, swelling, tenderness nor drainage. Will this heal on it's on or do I need to consult my OB/GYN? Please advise. Thanks
