Inconsistent periods
A friend of mine is experiencing unusual menstrual cycles that included two weeks of excessive bleeding (last month) and on again/off again symptoms (this month) The clinic she visits has referred her to a specialist for testing and her pending visit has left her feeling quite anxious. Other than a bimanual exam, insertion of a speculum and probable pap smear, can she expect any other tests during her exam? She's already had blood work and everything turned up negative with that.
We appreciate any feedback.

Maybe an U/S. Can't imagine they would do anything too invasive on the firt visit.
Good Luck.
