Increasing Pelvic Pain

For a little over a week now...I have had a lump on the left side of my pelvis inbetween where my leg connects and to where my pelvis starts. It has been tender for a while before I got the bump...but now the bump is increasing and so is the pain. I have made an appointment, but they can't see me for a few days..any ideas? I had what they thought was a bladder infection..could that have anything to do with it? Thanks for you time.

how big is the bump? are you able to push it in? i ask because it's possible it's an inguinal hernia or hernia of some sort.

Right now it is probably the size of a nickel or a little bigger..if you know anything else..it would be greatly appreciated..thank you.
