I recently went to my OBGYN and found out that I have PCOS which would explain my shabby periods any way he prescribed me Femara 2.5mg for 5 day to get ovulation started. I have yet to get a period but he told me to start taking them any way so my question is has anyone every used Femara before they got their period and if so was ovulation successful? Any kind of advice is welcomed. Thanx
I've never used Femara. The people that I know of that have used it always waited until after their period started.
You can always ask for Provera or Prometrium to induce your period-you would have to have a prescription and you would need to make sure you weren't already pregnant.

I hope your TTC journey is short!
