Inflamed cervix

Hi everyone, I had a pap today, no results yet but I just turned 34 and I don't know why I'm so worried. A little background .. I've had issues with yeast infections and bv since I was 17, can never have a normal flora stabilized down there and doctors don't offer much help. However today was different.. I've never had an abnormal pap but during the pap my pcp said my cervix looked a little inflamed and I had a lot of discharge (which I have learned to live with). Am I reading too much into it? I've emailed the doctor for clarification and now waiting for her and the pap to result. Any ideas as to what an inflamed cervix and discharge could mean? Thanks.
