Intense Itching

This is so weird but i have intense itching on my inner thighs right next to the vagina on each side and between my butt checks. Not on the anus at all but the space above it...the skin over the tailbone. The itching is so bad and nothing cures it. i have tried over the counter itch relief as well as doctor prescribed ointments. I almost always break the skin. These two places is the only parts of my body infected. I do shave but that doesn't explain the intense itching on the tailbone skin. I have no clue what it could be?? Can u please help.
