Irregular Periods & trying To get pregnant help me please ???

hi im 18 years old im married & have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now and i just seem to not be able to have a chid.i have VERY irregular periods and i mean very irregular i have a period like every 5 months or so ..and once it does come i bleed for like 3 months straight non stop..and me & my husband have tied everything ..i have bought so many pregnancy test its crazy..my mom had the same problem but then she had me and i dont know what to do!!!! then sometimes i think its that i want a baby so bad my body makes me think im pregnant but im really not..i dont know anymore i need help someone can anyone give me some answers ... i dont wanna give up im tired of crying about it and worrying that i wont be able to have a child of my own!!!! Hello, well let me tell you, being 24 and have been pregnant 8 times and have 4 daughters lol ive noticed with myself and my friends that when you want something so bad you dont usually get it, you will get pregnant when you least expect it. One thing i will say worked for me is after having sex put a pillow behind your lower back and put your legs up. i dont know why but it works. Have you tried going to a fertility specialist?

Hiya, first off i would say that ur periods need to be investigated, get ur hormone levels checked out.... because oviously there must be an inbalance somewhere.  Bleeding for three months at a time isn't normal.  

So i would say b4 even thinking about trying to conceive get yourself throughly checked over and make sure u are fit and well and if there are any hormone issues going on u can get them corrected and then you will have more of a chance of conceiving a healthly baby......

hi tina, well thank you for the info i will try it but i know i have tried not thinking about it but it just wont happen..lol..idk what to do anymore..i have went to many doctors but they just cant give me any reason i think i will try another doctor.and no i have not went to a fertility specialist i tried but they want 400 dollars just to see me they are out the box but im gonna have to pay it cause i want a child ...thank you

Hii im exactly the same!
im getting married august 22nd next year and im 18 and we have been trying for a baby for nearly a year now, i have slightly irregular periods ( a week or 2 late) but i also have been told i might have Polycystic ovaries which is becoming common and is the main reason for irregular periods so you should go get checked out by your doctor.

i have tried the pillow under by bum, putting my legs in the air, different positions all sorts of things and none have worked yet! but theres still hope!

ive just been told i have an infection in my cervix so ive stopped trying at the moment but my advice would be is to not stress ( i know its hard not to) and be patient, your time will come! im not a believer in god but i do believe in fate! so it will happen!

and i get so excited every month that i think im pregnant! i get morning sickness and my stomach swells so your not the only one, it just happens when you want something so bad

oh and i jsut looked on your profile and it says your overweight, im overweight too and loosing weight will help your chances a lot, ive lost as little as 3 pounds and it made my periods a little less late!
