Irregular periods

Hi am a 39 year old female. I have had fairly regular periods, until now. Last month my period was a little heavy and then I spotted a couple times a few days after it should have been over. That was 29 days ago. I usually have periods ever 27-30 days. but nothing I know its a little soon. But could it be my age, stress, or is it normal to have irregularity once in while. Plus I have been on phentermine for dieting and have lost over 30 lbs in the last 6 weeks. Anyone have any probs with phentermine like this?
