Its called a cone biopsy, in case you want to google it and find more info. It makes sense to go in and talk to your doctor about it, and see if the doctor thinks it's urgent enough to do now. Many times it can safely be put off until afterwards, but sometimes not.
Unfortunately, no one here can really tell you what the proper course of action in your particular case is. It will be up to you and your doctor to decide on the timing and urgency. Good luck.
i am going thru the exact same thing right now, however i found out 3 weeks after the cold cone biopsy that i was pregnant during the procedure. my doctor cancelled my serumFerritin Serum calcium Serum globulin electrophoresis Serum iron Serum ketones Serum phosphorus Serum progesterone Serum serotonin level Sodium - blood pregnancy test just an hour before the procedure because of a time constraint. now i am left with the decision wether or not i can carry the baby full term. i did have to sign documents that acknowledge the fact that carring a baby full term is unlikely without further medical procedures. in my opinion this procedure should NEVER be done while pregnant unless cancer is suspected. not knowing if u can carry the baby, or if the baby will be affected from the anesthesia is not worth the risk.

I'm sure they can treat you and find ways to keep your cervix strong and healthy for your unborn baby.
They can surture it closed and maybe not even have to do it until after the baby is born.
It's necessary for you to talk to your dr about risks and benefits for this procedure.
