Is it implantation bleeding or really early period?

I'm not supposed to start my period for another 4 or 5 days.  I just went to the bathroom and there a little brownish, very watery discharge in my panties.  Even when I wiped there was a considerable amount, but it doesn't have the consistency of my period.  Has anyone experience implantation bleeding?  How much do you bleed?  This seems awfully early for me to start my period and I always start on a Tuesday or Wednesday night.  Starting on a Friday afternoon is odd for me.....Any help is appreciated.  (My husband and I are trying to get pregnant, so if this is implantation bleeding, it's a good thing...)

Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding.  It might be soon enough to take a test.  The first response ones are sensitive enough to detect the hormones up to 5 days before your period.  Good luck!

I am also producing alot of saliva, is this normal?  I swallow like every 30 seconds, it's alot....

WELL let me just say that when i finally got pregnant after trying for 4 years i was bleading heavily.  I mean i was taking motrin and using a tampon.  the only reason I even took a pregnancy test was that I felt queezy and the smell of coca-cola made me want to vomit (an i loved coke) come to find out i was prego.  so it could very well be implatation.  please keep us posted and good luck

Just an update....I took one pregnancy test on Friday, negative.  Then I took another on Saturday, negative.  On Sunday, began flowing very heavy.  Must be my period.  I've only been tracking my period for the past month.  We will keep trying for that baby and keep you updated!  Thanks for the advice to everyone.  Any prayers are very appreciated!

my last menstrual was june 17.....i came on my period out of no where july 1st...so its about 3 weeks early...its slimy and very pink......could i have had a miscarriage?
