Is it possible for period to last only 3 days after taking progestrone?

I have PCOS and did not have my period for 3 months and was prescribed progestrone. I started slightly bleeding/spotting with clots from 8th day of taking progesterone (02/10) until (02/13). Progesterone was completed on 02/12. I called the nurse on the 02/13 and she said to wait until I have a full flow. 02/14 is when it was ongoing light loss of blood with clot (period like smell), 02/15 medium flow, and on 02/16 light bleed in the morning and period stopped. The nurse counted 02/15 as day 1.  Does this sound correct or is 02/14 suppose to be day1?
What concerns me is that the nurse kept saying I will lose more blood and clot because I did not have my period for 3 months. I didn;t lose that much blood. When my period was normal it only lasted 4 days. Is this my true period or spontaneous bleed?
I'm very confused.
