Lower back pain was one of the first symptoms I noticed when I found out I was pregnant.  It was really sore almost like I was doing too many back exercises!

Yes I got lowe back pain with my son! When was your LMP? If it was less than a month ago I doubt that your drinking or smoking could harm the baby at all. Do you drink a lot of hard alcohol and often? I think that is really the only risk, like if you were binge drinking every day or something!! I am sure everything will be fine. Take a test and keep us posted!!

Everything is a symptom of early pregnancy.  The only real thing is to take a test.  Good for you for quitting drinking and smoking anyway.

It's an unwritten rule that you should abstaine from any and all harmful substances if you think you might be pregnant.
What if there was a baby in there and you continued drinking and smokeing and it came out damaged?
It wouldnt hurt to stay away from it all until you find out for sure.

It's a definite symptom after your 12th week.  But if you mean before you have a missed period, well ..... maybe some ladies have had this.  If you think you are preggers and it is too early to test, can you stay away from drinking and smoking until you can test?
