Is my vaginal discharge abnormal?

About 2 years before I started my period I started having vaginal discharge. I'm 22 now and it's still going on. It can't be an STD because i'm a virgin and I just want to know if its normal or not. Sometimes it's a little clumpy, but I wouldn't describe it as cottage cheese like some other sites. It's usually white or a light yellow. There is sometimes a light fishy odor but it isn't incredibly strong. There is never any burning or itching. Anyone know? Thanks

the fishy odor is not normal. if there is a bad odor, even if it's not strong or discharge that is yellow, green, white and clumpy these are signs of an infection. see a doctor.

It could be a yeast infection, not all fungal infections cause itching or burning. I had them a lot as a child and teenager.
Yeast infections can linger around and come and go without ever getting bad enough to see a doctor. They also get worse after being on anti-biotics. I also found having baths made them occur, so I stick to showers.
Try adding some probiotic yogurt to your diet, a yogurt a day, and see if that helps. You can also try an over the counter anti-fungal cream/ovule, available at any pharmacy. If those work, you got your answer. Hope that helps, I really think thats all your looking at :)

You could have a yeast infection. They don't always itch. Or BV. You can get creams over the counter for a yeast infection. You'd need antibotics for BV. ALL women have discharge though. BUT if there's an odor I'd get it checked out. You can get both without having sex at all.
