Is there such a thing as a false POSITIVE?

Hi all,

   I have a confusing issue that I need clarification with. I took a digital pregnancy test yesterday and the reading came up as positive. This morning I took the test at about the same time and it was the 2nd test stick that came with the other, so same brand and everything. However, today when I took the test, it came up as negative...sooo.....which am I???

I had that happen to me back in august. I used the Confirm Clearly Brand and I got three Positives and a couple of days later I got two negatives. I hate digital! I was crushed. I mean after three positives I was starting to believe that I was pregnant but I was wrong.

Yes, there have been claims of false positives on the digital tests.  

I would wait 2 days and use a different brand of test.  If you are pg, the hcg will have time to double and any pg test should show an accurate answer.

I think the digitals are ****. I used one and it was wrong as well.

Thanks everyone....I went to the doc and got a blood test done, but I won't find that out till tomorrow afternoon. I'm not feeling any different and at this point I'm very skeptical at whether or not I am pregnant. I really hope so!!! My husband and I have been trying and it would be nice to have a baby on the way before he deploys!!! Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!

Keep us posted on what the Dr tells you.  I used a digital test...the Clear Blue that tells you "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant" and it was right!

Well, my blood tests came back negative.....what's that all about?? Now I am REALLY confused....
