Is this a yeast infection or something worse?

About three days ago I went to the bathroom and it hurt when i peed. The next day I told my mom and we thought it was a UTI because i've had it before but the doctor told me it wasn't a UTI. The next day it got extremly more painful to pee. So bad that I would cry and had to stop. The next day everything was swollen and my vagina lips were partruding out and very swollen. I started to us the Monistat 3 day treatment because we started to think it was a yeast infection but it is not helping at all. I can't even wipe because it hurts so bad and I just want to cry. There is no white discharge but the other day when i was having sex with my boyfriend, there was a little white clumps of yeast afterwards. But that's the only time i see the discharge. i can't even take it anymore and i'm afraid it's something much worse than just a yeast infection.
