Is this my period after miscarriage?????

I'm so confused.  I think I am getting my period but is it too soon after the D&C (it's only been 24 days and I didn't stop bleeding until the MArch 31st so it is has only been 19 days since then.  Is this my period or is this just more bleeding from the miscarriage and D&C? I've called my midwife for answers but she's not in until tomorrow.  Any advice????
Thanks

I'm sorry for your losses too. Are you still ttc?
I hope that this is my period but I'm starting to really doubt it because I have been looking for anyone who has had a period so close to the d&c and I can't find anyone!  This means that this is probably left over bleeding from the miscarriage and I am so disappointed. I guess it could be implantation bleeding b/c we had sex on the 15th and 16th of April but, it seems too heavy.  Ahhh, so confusing.  If you have any other info send it my way.  I'll keep you updated on my status too. THanks and good luck to you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have had 2 miscarriages but no d&c's, but from what I have read from my girlfriends say here on this site is that after a d&c your period should pretty much return to normal. If it is like your regular period then it could very well be your period. I don't mean to be too invasive, but have you been trying to get pregnant? If it is lighter then it would be right around the time of implantation bleeding. I would say that if it continues then it is probably your regular period. I hope you get your answers soon =)
