I have noticed that since I moved in a new home that I have been itching, in between my fingers, wrist, hands, and my inner thighs. I looked online its doesnt look like scabies. I have never been around propane before and that what's our heater and stoves runs on. Can it be that the propane is drying my skin out that bad, and my itching is making the clear (looks like blisters) bumps. I'm not sure what to do. What else could it possible be? My fiancee does not itch at all and we sleep in the same bed, I figured ( and read, close contact) if it was scabies her would have it also, which he does not. I wonder if it is eczema (maybe)? But I itch so bad sometimes I cant sleep. I have tried taking baths in the oatmeal, to sooth my skin and its not working. What could it be? Please let me know ASAP. I have made a doctor's appt., but it will be almost 3 weeks before I can go. Is there any thing I can do to Realive the pain?
I don't think propane would do it. I suppose it could if you have any alergy (allergy) to it. Did you go from hard water to soft water (or vice versa)? It sounds more like an environmental change then scabies or some time of critter.
I would try to find a good vitamin e cream. I think the name of the one I use is Eucerine (can't remember the exact name). It's great. Runs around $10.
Try Cetaphil, also..I think that's how it is spelled. If you called your doctor and told them you were "sick" and needed an appointment, I would try to find another doctor's office. That is crazy. I experienced a similar situation with my OBGYN and had a BV--they told me it would be over a month for an appt. I quickly found another doc--not all offices are so packed with patients. Doctors should see you within at least 2 days if you are sick. Just my opinion. One suggestion...if there is a nurse that can return your phone call, you could tell her how long you have to wait for an appointment, and maybe she could call you something topical in for the itching...there is a prescription called Elidel for eczema. Maybe they'd try this for you until your appt???? It's worth a try. Sorry you're having a hard time.
do you think its possible that the new home you just moved into is flea infested? that could cause some of these symptoms you are talking about (the bumps too). this has happened to me in the past. sometimes you cannot even see the fleas. just a suggestion.
Fleas!! That's right! Those little buggers (the eggs) can lay dormant for months of not longer and then all you have todo is walk near them and the heat from your body hatches them out and they just jump right on you and you don't even notice it. A doc will be able to tell you if it is flea bites..
Very GOOD point oceans3!!!
IF IT WAS FLEAS WOULDN'T MY FIANCEE HAVE THIS ALSO. HOW WOULD I GET RID OF THE FLEAS. CAN I BOMB MY HOUSE LIKE YOU WOULD FOR ROACHES? I DON'T MEAN TO SOUND DUMB, WHAT IS GRAVE'S DISEASE? THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR COMMENTS, YOU HAVE BEEN HELPFUL.
yes, if you do have fleas that is the way to get rid of them completly. i thought a bit more about it and flea bites are moe tiny red bumps. i would think also your guy would have them too..youre right.
i dont know what graves disease is..sorry.
do these bumps "ooze?"
when my skin is dry, i will get a "dry patch" that has tiny WHITE bumps that itch but they are not clear. maybe you should post on the dermatology forum or consult one in your area?
Grave's disease involves an overactive thyroid gland. Have you lost any weight, or had a change in your menstrual cycle? Are you ever shaky or do you have heart palpitations? He had bumps just like the ones you are describing on his hands and arms. They were clear and very itchy, and if he squeezed them, they popped and clear liquid came out. He was also working around a lot of harsh chemicals at the time, but his endocrinologist thought the bumps were probably related to the thyroid problems. You should go to the doctor, regardless, if those bumps don't go away.
I am prone to flea bites so much so I feel like an expert on them. They love me! If you have fleas you can actually feel them crawling on you at times. At first you don't notice and then you may feel one in your hair, etc. The bites are usually larger hard type bumps and they itch terribly. You won't find them in clusters like the other tiny clear watery blisters. You might get a few in a row on your skin and you can confuse them with spider or mosquito bites. You can clearly tell they are insect bites. The bites can get infected and you can become allergic to them. Incidently, my vet recently told me there is a difference between cat and dog fleas too. Cat fleas are larger and longer in size. Regardless, if you are getting flea bites you will be able to find one or two on your body or in your bath water. They are difficult to kill because they have a very hard body to crush and they can jump high and get away when you corner one. Once your house and woodwork is infested it's almost as bad as lice. Crazy huh?
I was just going to pop in and say I have the same issue. I have the same issue with the clear watery blisters. I have mine badly on the bottom of my left foot all across the ball of all my toes. I found using a pumice stone during showers on the areas where they are small and new (basically subdermal), followed by lotion in the day and athlete's foot cream before bed keeps mine well in control. One time I drank some echinacea tea and got them TERRIBLY in between all my fingers. I never drank that again and havent had them on my hands until I ate some mixed nuts that had pine nuts in them. That brought it back on my hands. Now I stay away from pine nuts and echinacea tea. Dunno whats causing it on my foot.
Im 18 and about a week ago i started with a really itchy arm, now there are clear little bumps but not all over my body just on my right arm, my stomach, back and the inside of one thigh. I too have these clear bumps and the bumps in between my legs. They itch like crazy and they keep me up all night. At first I thought it may be scabies but I found it weird my mom and family didn't catch it either. Other people suggested to me a dermatitis. I don't think I would have fleas because my 3 brothers and parents would have signs of this too. I'm a 16 year old girl. I'm afraid and I have no idea why this is happening. Please, help me? If you have found away to get rid of these extremely itchy bumps help me.
I also have the EXACT SAME THING! It's so itchy and frustrating I want to cry! I've been itching and it's been spreading for at least 8 months now! It's diving me insane. Cortizone helps with the itching some but it doesn't stop the spreading. If you've found something to help, could you tell me? I'd be eternally grateful. I even feel better just knowing I'm not the only one!
They are small bumps that are the same color as my skin at first. Maybe sliiightly pinker. I notice a new one only when I start itching there and see it. If I pop the ones on my fingers, wrists, and forearms, a clear fluid comes out. And then they seem to start to heal.
My gay best friend got it first. And we like to watch movies together in his bed so eventually I got it too.
They started high on the back of my right thigh about 8 months ago and itched like crazy. Then they slowly, over the course of a few months moved down my thighs, behind my knees, on my calves, front of my thighs, lower stomach, lower back, then to my hands and forearms. I'm scared of where they'll show up next. It's not very visible unless I scratch them vigorously. That seems to **** them off. And in the places where it spreads, it's only two or three bumps--not a huge area.
My friend went to the doctor for it and he prescribed scabies lotion. (I was horrified at the thought that I might have an insect infestation on my skin!) We both used the one-time application and followed the instructions to the T, cleaning the whole apartment and washing all the linens and clothes we have. But it wasn't scabies. That was 5 months ago and it is still spreading.
I can't take it anymore. Please, anyone. I need help!!
I got the same thing. Dont know where or how I got them. Stress?? At night they itch like crazy. I had some melaluka in a tin. I used it and it helped a lot. Then I did research on the meleluka product and found it comes in oil and so I ordered some and used it on the bumps. I was getting them on the inside of my fingers. Yes squeeze them and white stuff comes out, but does nothing to take them away. The melaluka worked for me. I just used a little and rubbed it in and within days gone! Now I keep it in my cabinet, but they havent come back for a few months now.
ke;;y did u ever find out what was causing them bumps i have tham my three kids and my mother my dermatologist isnt helping and keeps pascribing me different meds.. i been having them over three months.. email me at ***@**** or contact me at 2093465923! please.
It is probably scabies in your case, since it has spread to other people in your household. Scabies are tiny microscopic bugs that can get on your skin and cause itchy white bumps that ooze. I would recommend you go to the doctor right away. There is a cream that will treat it and you will also need to treat you clothing, bedding, stuffed animals, anything that you would clean as if you had head lice. I hope this helps.
