Itchy vulva

I had a bad habit to wear same panties continuously for 2-3 days at my late teenage i.e. 18-19. Afterwards I felt itchiness at my external vagina so I left my that bad habit. Then sometimes I used to feel itchyness in external vagina but it wouldn't used to cause much problem and it used to reduce automatically. So I ignored problem. My mother sometimes noticed me to itch there and she scolded me a lot and asked me if i was feeling itchiness.  The I was scared and replied, 'no. nothing.' Still she suggested me to wash that area with dettol-water if i was having itchiness. She has the idea that washing external vagina with dettol-water keeps the area infection-free. Then she forgot about my that problem. I very sometimes used feel itchyness there and used to itch. But it was reduced automatically. Very frequently or very sometimes I used to feel such problem. So I completely ignored that problem as it used to happen very sometimes only.
              But now I am 26+. (Unmarried yet.I'll have first time sex-experience after my marriage with my husband.Not having any sex-experience yet.). I'll be married in the next year with my boyfriend who is in abroad now. Now the problem is recently I'm feeling quite itchy and it's not reducing. I am feeling trouble cause of it.I am applying Borolene creme but no help! I am applying cold ice--feeling a bit relaxed. I am washing my itchy area with water but no help! The itchiness not going away and it's continuously itching and I am applying garlic there-it's reducing but not being fully ok. I am feeling crazy and extremely worried. Nowadays sometimes I am feeling slight pain in my lower abdomen too. I am very worried to imagine if the infection being spreaded the internal area too.I am not sure although. But as my external vagina that is vulva is having itching. I am very crazy to imagine if i get any problem during intercourse with my husband after marriage or if i get problem to conceive baby cause of this reason or if my husband also get infected by itchiness by me. I am feeling pretty scared. Before visiting doctor I am willing to buy some medicines or creme for this.It is yeast infection or bacterial infection?I am not being able to tell about this problem to my mother as she'll extremely scold over me. I am hesitating to visit doctor as i feel that before visiting doc i need to consult with my mom as if the doctor may ask me to go for various medical check-ups. Although I am 26+, working lady but very much homely and under emotional dominance of my parents.I am feeling so scared.I've decided that if the problem doesn't cure even after applying anti-itch-creams then only I'll visit doc with my would be husband after his return from abroad. He'll return soon.Until he's returning kindly suggest me some good anti-itching cremes so that the infection will be reduced or cured.---My symptombs is like below: 1.Too much itchiness in external vagina. 2. new symptomb is : feeling slight pain sometimes in lower-abdomen (I don't know whether both are related or not) 3. No discharge or no bad smell.
Please kindly suggest me remedies.This is head-killing.I am being worried a lot.
