Help! I just had a pap smear this morning..and my doctor told me for the fisrt time that my cervix is slightly red. Should I worry? I've never had an abnormal pap smear, been on birth control pill for years, and I'm about to start period next week.. I'm worried..
I wouldn't worry hon. You might possibly have an infection, at that case the Dr. will prescribe you something.. If it was something to be worried about then he/she would have said something. :)
Are you sexually active. If so it could be just irratated. I don;t think you have any thing to worry about. You said that you are bout to start your period. that could be why its red too. Getting ready for that stage of the mensus. Don't stress yourself out about it. If your docter wasn't concerned, then you shouldn't be either.
