Just Wondering

PGB
Hello again to everyone.  My question is, is it possible to have a kidney infection with no symtoms except a change in urine color?    I have had several in past years, but always had pain and/or burning with them.  I don't now.  But urine is almost floresent(sp) yellow/green today.  Have been drinking lots of water with no effect, except to make me go more.  What do you think, do I need to go purchace a bottle of cranberry juice and a box of azo standard pills?

I THINK U SHOULD BUY THE CRANBERRY JUICE TO SEE IF IT WOULD CHANGE ANYTHING. THEN GO TO THE DOCTOR TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE. TAKE CARE!!!!

Have you started taking any new medications or vitamins/supplements recently? I know sometimes these can change the color of your urine. Either way it never hurts to at least give your doctor a call and ask. Esp. with a history of infections. Good Luck! :)

I did just start taking a B Complex vitamin.  I just started it yesterday morning, so I have taken 2 pills.  Maybe that's what it is.  I'm going to get the cranberry juice just to be sure though. Thanks to everyone.  I didn't know vitamins would do that.

It's probably just the vitamin you started taking.

yes - vitamins will frequently give the urine a yellowish color.  it should dissipate towards the end of the day, though.

B complex vitamins always make you pee yellow and kinda smelly (like vitamins) to reduce the yellow color.  Take the vitamins with food and drink plenty of water.  If you don't take the vitamins with food then you are peeing them right out and thats why its soo yellow.
