How about low blood sugar?  Try drinking some orange juice or eating some candy when you have these "spells".  Have you talked to your doc about diabetes and hypoglycemia?

Well, if you're iron deficient, there are iron pills you can take, but they're not for everyday use.  I take Equate Women's Daily Vitamin.  I'm ttc so it's good for that too.  I would think it would show up on a blood test, they took one for me to see if I was anemic and that's what they told me, my iron was low.  So, I started taking supplements and it helped.
