LUMP-PUSS-HAIR?

In mid October, I started having a lot of discomfort in the vaginal area during my period. After self examination, I noticed my clitoris seemed swollen or enlarged. As if I was excited and it never went back down. As days went by, my clitoris hurt like crazy anytime my pants touched that area or my sanitary napkin. Well after almost a week went by, I noticed the pain had suddenly subsided so, I took a look down there. Well, I found that the swell went down and there was a pimple that had a white head on it, so I popped it. A very tiny squiggle of white cream came out, but I noticed a brown point coming out of the puss hole so, I pulled it and out came these 10 quarter inch hairs!?? They were pin straight and brownish and course. So, after being freaked out and mainly grossed out, I took a shower and that was that. Well now, a week later I feel discomfort below again, examine myself and there it is again! A squiggle of cream and the point, I pull it out and quarter inch hairs are there again! Same exact thing as last time. Looks like a pimple with a bee stinger sticking out of it! What in Gods name is this?? It's so sickening!!......frightening too.

It's just an ingrown hair.  Do you shave or wax?  This is a common response to damaging the hair follicles by tearing them out and/or shaving too closely.  I agree with Sher, watch for signs of infection, but  I don't think that you need to immediately go to a doctor.

After all, if we went to a doctor for every little ingrown hair or pimple that occurred on our bodies, we'd be thousands of dollars in medical debt, wouldn't we?  We have an immune response, why don't we trust it every once in a while.

Just keep an eye on it.
