I have been having problems since I was younger, but now I find it more uncomfortable. I don't know how to explain it other than I have a large labia. I have gotten cronic yeast infections since I was young. I still get the infections and take care of them from home with prescriptions the doctor writes for me. I have problems wearing jeans or any other pants that are too close to my private. It is very uncomfortable and I have to constantly adjust myself so that the pants do not hurt me. I am going to the GYN soon, and want to ask if there is a way to have surgery on that area, and if insurance would pay for the surgery. Does anyone knwo if insurance would pay for the surgery?? Has that every happened?? I do not have the money to pay for it, but I can't go on livingAdvanced care directives uncomfortable. I am only 28 years old, and have no children yet...I just want to be comfortable. Can anyone help with answers??
Check out Dr. Glazer's website, the FAQ section. There is a lot of info there. It's a good place to start.
