A friend of mine's mom didn't go through menopause until age 67. It's defined as being a whole year without a period, so maybe she did what you are doing, just spotted every now and then. She had a lot of children, so maybe that delayed her menopause ... after all, for each child, her eggs were asleep for nine months. I'm not your age, but my mother is. She is 63 and she is still having hot flashes. She calls them trips to hell. She hasn't had a pd. in many years. They are getting better though.
