Ladies w/Endo_ Pain with IC

Those of you who found out you have endo, and had experienceD pain with sex, were you in pain everytime or just periodically? I have pain but not everytime, but when I do have pain, it is enough to make me push away screaming.

I just had surgery in June 2006. This is my 3rd surgery. It will just keep coming back my doctor told me. He told me about a hysterectomy but I am not ready. I am only 33. I have 2 beautiful children I might want more. I guess I will have to suck it up and take the pain until I'm ready for the big surgery.

Thanks for the re-assurance, I just get so freakin' frustrated you know, It is no was to live not knowing how you will feel from day to day. I may have one pain free week a month, but i just never know. I feel so bad for my better half, he is so patient with me. I blame myself most times. Any how, I will know for sure on the 18th, if it is Endo. rightn now i am debating whether or not i am going to stay at work, i can't stand to be here and in pain, mostly left sided, it is to the point that i sometimes get a awkward tiptoe kind of limp, i try to play it off, but i think the pain shows on my face. Anyhoo, Thanks Smile.

I also had pain when having sex, not everytime. I also had heavy periods and it got to the point I would hurt for days at a time. This was my 2nd time with endo and just had lapa. to remove it. The Dr. also had to take out my ovary. Do not wait. Go to your Dr. and tell him everything you are going through. Good Luck!

I had a lapro surgery in 2001 only to have endo return with vengence in 2003, just finally gave in to a hysterectomy 3 wks ago, i had lots of endo adhesions and scar tissue from the previos laproscopic surgeries for it. You may want to ask your dr if there is anything to help you at all. I wish you the best of luck with your situation.

Pain during sex was why I saw the Dr. Most women with endo have very heavy periods & I never have. I ddon't have pain everytime but I couldn't figure out when or why. Like was I ovulating or about to start? The pain is only on my left side, deep inside. Sometimes it will hurt just a little & sometimes I will burst into tears. I now know I have endo. I had a lap 2 3/4 years ago. My hubby "hit" my "spot" in March & it didn't hurt too bad but it ruptured a cyst. I thought I was dying! It was worse than all 3 labors I went through combined & lasted hours. I have had pain ever since.

That sounds like typical endo unless you have been diagnosed with some other female issue that has been causing it.
