Late Period on Trinessa

Late Period on Trinessa

I have been on trinessa for 4 weeks now.  I am on the Sunday start pills.  I started the first Sunday of July.  My last period started the first Saturday of July.  I've been taking my pills at the same time daily.  I've been having protective sex always, and the guy never releases in me.  Even though he wears a condom, he always pulls out before he has to ejaculate.  I am now on the 5th day of my 4th week pills (I started Sunday).  I still haven't started my period.  The first time we had sex while on the pill (and without him ejauculating in me and he was wearing a condom) was the final day of my last period.  There was one night where I was late taking my pill by a couple hours.  But I took the pill as soon as I got home and took the next pill the next day at my regular time.  I am really paranoid why my period hasn't started yet.  I called my doctor and his assistant said I should have started Tuesday or Wednesday.  She said to give it til Friday and if I still haven't started, to take a preg. test.  But I really don't know how I could be preg. though.  We were never unprotected and I didn't skip any pills.  Am I just overreacting?  All bodies don't react the same to the pills, right?  Someone please offer advice and comfort!  Thanks.

My first period after starting Trinessa was late. In fact, I wondered if I was pg again and my son was just a few months old! I want to say it started on the last pill that it started. Since then, it seems to start around day 4 or 5 or the last week of pills, but that first month was weird.

Yay, I got your period started!! It sounds like you're taking them exactly right and with using a back-up method, you should be very safe.
