Late period

My period is 3 days late,i have been ill for the past week I had blocked nose and a sore throat. I have been taking  vitamin C tablets, nurofen and actifed. Can the flu delay your period? The chances of me being pregnant are really low,my boyfriend and I have been using protection everythime.

These 3 days feel like 3 years as am really worried haha the stress is probably adding to the delay. I am sexually active but we have used protection so it probably will be fine:)

Hi there.  You are only three days late hon.  You'll find that as time goes on, you have late cycles here and there and it is completely normal.  If you are sexually active though, you can always take a home pregnancy test to rule that out.  good luck
