Late period

I'm 5 days late on my period, i'm always every 28 days. I had a negative pregnancy test 2 days ago. I'm experiencing a dull aching pain on my lower right side, like twinges.

Well i'm back from A&E the pain was unbearable. I'm not pregnant i had a blood test ,which is good news for me :0). I've got to go back to the Gynocology clinic and see what the problem is, so fingers crossed it's not too bad.

If you had blood work done and you got the results, than you are definately not pregnant. If they just did a urine test, then it could be to soon. If the blood was done, then it could be a cyst. About 5 years ago, I had a cyst that was removed on my right ovary. It caused me so much pain. It was 2 inches and they had to test if it was cancer. But the pain came and went. You may have to have more test if it keeps bothering you. If I don't feel good, I will bug the Drs until I find what is the matter with me.

I ended up going to the Dr for about 6 or 7 times and everytime they did an Ultrasound, they didn't find anything but my bloodwork kept rising normally as if I was pregnant. They couldn't explain it but I started bleeding heavily after the 7 and 8 week and I went to the emergency room. My cervix was closed as in pregnancy at the hospital and blood work came out pregnant but nothing in the womb. I was screaming in pain and they found a sac in my tube and they ended up doing emergency surgery within my being at the hospital of 2 hours. It was awful. I was in severe pain for a week. I coudn't walk because of the pain. I hope I never go through that again. My husband and I actually ended up getting pregnant again after 2 months and had a healthy pregnancy. Keep me posted.

I don't want to alarm you but I had the same thing happen except for the negative result. I had a positive but I had dull aching pain and twinges on one side. It turned out to be ectopic. If you don't start and the pain becomes more intense, I would definatly see a Dr. I would see a Dr anyway if you feel uncomfortable.
