Late

my period was expected three days ago but now I've noticed that when I was using the bathroom I wiped and saw bright red blood on the tissue and I am experiencing major cramping. What should I do because three months ago a had a tubal pregnancy and it was the most terrifying experience of my life?

But 3 months ago you had a miscarriage. I had 4 of them and it effected me once . Only for a few months. Your hormone levels are just now returning to normal. This can effect your cycle. It takes at least three cycles to return to normal. ( BTW, I have been a OB nurse for 28 years).  Your next cycle should be right as rain.

skipping or spotting is uncommon for me though because those things have never happened to me. I've taken a test and it was negative.

Skipping or spotting a period is not uncommon. Wait till your next cycle. You may wish to take a pregnancy test.

i haven't received my period yet. Yesterday after I used the bathroom and wiped and saw bright red blood but after that there was no more blood. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative but I still don't have my period.

Your period has started. What kind of birth control are you on?
