if you got checked your doctor should have swabbed your area to check for herpes, you can only test if you have herpes by a swab when your having an outbreak, i dont believe you can determine by blood test(i may be wrong) if your tests came back negative for herpes and its the same situation now, you dont have herpes, it normally shows up 10 to 16 days post exposure, although it can lay dormat in some people, my guess is that you dont
