Low hcg beta level 12 days after embryo transfer

I had a 2 embryo transfer on January 22 and went for bloodwork Feb. 2 for HCG/Beta levels.  The nurse called to inform me that the level was at 11 and I could be cautiously optimistic but she didn't sound optimistic at all.  Is it unusual to have a blood test only 11/12 days after transfer?  I am returning in three days for another blood test.  Is it possible to still have "viable" pregnancy or should I prepare myself for chemical pregnancy?  Any information would be helpful.

Just a website I found after searching normal levels of hcg on google--and the other day I saw that it takes 6 days after implantation to start producing hcg. I would agree with your DR--cautiously optimistic. Think all the best thoughts but prepare for the worst. I am thinking positive thoughts towards you!
