Lump Extending Inside Vagina...normal or not?

I've noticed a large, hard, fleshy, lump-like thing at the entrance of my vagina extending into it on the top wall for an inch or so. It is possible to reach my finger to the sides of it and behind it. It feels quite fleshy on top although it is hard underneath, like it is a structure of the vaginal wall maybe? If I try to look in a mirror, it seems like I can see some of the flesh inside if I push. I'm not sure if I've always had it or if it has changed over the years. I am 24 and not sexually active. I'm just wondering if this could be normal? Is the vaginal canal normally cylindrical (I know it is normal to have small bumps, ridges, and folds though)? I'm afraid it could be a tumor or worse...

No, no changes to periods or discharge. It doesn't hurt at all either.

Thank you for the advice!

Did you notice any changes in your periods? (e.g. heavy bleeding, prolonged bleeding)

Do you get unusual discharge? (e.g. bloody, foul-smelling)

As long as you are not sexually active, I don't think it could be something serious. However, make sure you see your doctor. All women over 18 (even the ones who are not sexually active) should visit OBGYN annually.
