I have recently (within the past 2-3 weeks) noticed a hard lump beneath my right breast tissue. It doesn't usually cause any pain, but when I apply pressure it brings discomfort and small amounts of pain. I am 18 years of age and female. I am probably concerned for no reason, but just wondered if anyone could give me advice on what it is, if anything at all, and whether I should do anything about it? Thank you.
Any lump in the breast should be looked on as a matter of concern. However as you are young this can be a fibro-adenoma of the breast which is a benign tumour. You should consult your Doctor for an examination.
Hope this helps.
