Lump by bikini line and my lady parts

So I was washing "down there" and when I reached my bikini line I felt this bump that hurt a bit, but I didn't think anything of it. Then last night I felt that the bump was larger, and it hurt more. It feels like the bump is inside not out, and you can't really see it on the outside. I'm 17 years old and a virgin, and I'm also an active runner and soccer player(if that helps). Help?! I don't want to see a doctor :(

Does it look like a pimple? If so it can be possible its an ingrown hair. They do hurt and tend to grow also.
