Lump in labia...worried..

by momtotwinsplus1, Jun 10, 2006 12:00AM
Hi, I posted last week that I was having some green discharge and itching after 2 courses of antibiotics (and no sexual contact). Thankfully that has resolved, but in its wake I have an enlarged labia majora on the right side, and two days ago I found a pea size lump in the labia majora, I say inside because by looking you would never know it was there, it could only be felt. Thankfully it too went away.
However today in the shower I noticed another lump in my labia majora this one is more the size of a soybean and is directly to the right of my clitoris but deep in the outer lip, the only way to truly feel is is to pinch the lip..if that makes sense..It doesnt seem to be fixed, it moves. But since I was dx 12 years ago with HPV I am worried about vulvar cancer. I still also have mild itching and swollen labia on that side.
Any ideas?

Frankly, I'd worry too!  It sounds unpleasant to say the least.  It could be from HPV without cancer or it might be from a cyst or  something else altogether, but it seems like the only way to know what you are dealing with is to see the doc.
