Lump on side of vaginal lip

Hi, I have a a very very sore lump on the lip of my vagina and it is very painful to walk sit or even move at all with it rubbing??
I have tried creams and cold compresses but it wont seem to take what feels like swelling down. It only came on a day ago and i dont know what else to do or try???

Almost sounds like a clogged / blocked hair follicle. Those are very uncomfortable. They usually pass on their own in a few days. Maybe some heat is better to open up the pores? Warm bath or compress maybe?

it could be an infected Bartholyn's gland, causing a cyst!
