MICROPLASMA!!! Please Help!!!!

My doctor has told me that i keep getting this microplasma (mycoplasma) and it is hard to treat. He can't even give me a good reason for why it keeps coming back. I feel like it never goes away and is affecting my personal life. I am on a different antibiotic, but I am scared it will not help. I am afraid to ever have sex again. Even just by being touched, I feel like it comes back. Can anyone give me a better understanding of this bacterial disease? Are there better ways to treat it? I can't take the constant burning and fear of ever being able to get intimate again in any way. Please help!!!
