At C5-C6, posterior disc bulging is again noted with more focal left post posterior disc bulging narrowing the left neural exit foramen more so than the right. Crowding of the existing nerve on the left may be considered although neural impingement is difficult to confirm.
At C6-C7, diffuse disc bulging slightly more pronounced to the left of the midline is again noted narrowing the anterior thecal sac, but no significant neural impingement is confirmed. No other significant cervical spinal canal or exit foraminal stenosis is demonstrated. Signal within spinal cord & surrounding CSF space appears unremarkable.
They could try several treatments--a few allow you to try chiropractic treatments, some send you for physical therapy, while others strongly recommend surgery.
I would assume from your notes above that you have nerve pain and alternating numbness and tingling in your arms and legs??
Some people have great success with surgery. I was afraid of it, to be honest, but I am a big coward. I was only working part-time when my 3 bad neck discs were Dx via an MRI.
I messed around on pain killers and steroids for 3 months before I listened to my friend and went to a very well-know reflexologist near me. It took him several months, but he helped me more than nay doctor (although it took five visits until I actually started getting relief). In fact, I felt worse afte the first visit and almost wuit going. Now, I swear by him!
