well im 18 and i decided i wanted to start takin birth control as a precaution..i use condoms jus wanted a extra back up... i told my doctor and she gave my loestrin 24... she said for me to start on the day i get my period... but i hadnt gotten my period that month yet.... i got it on september 10th and it was october 22 when i went for the doctor app.. so my period was ten days late..she took a urine sample and i wasnt preganant which i could have told her..anyways she gave me the pills to take for seven days.. i took my last one on october 28th..ts now november 2 and my period still hasnt come yet..all my research says that i should have gotten it within three days after the last pill its been five days and stil no period.... idnt kno why... and i wanted to start taking the birth control and was wondering if i could jus start them without waiting for my period to come since its taking so long
