Menstraul cycle off-Should I be concerned?

Someone please help...the issue that I am having is that for the past 3 months or so my period has only been for 2 days and it is heavy at first and then lighter. Still I can tell that it seems to be normal. This month I thought I was running late on my cycle because I usually have mine around when my little girl has hers. I realized later she was a bit early, but also don't know if mine was supposed to start on the 15th or 26th.

The 15th came and went and I had all my regular ones sxs but no actual bleeding. Then on the 23rd I begin to bleed heavy and had some cramping. But by the 25th it was very very light still had serve cramping. I spotted through the early morning of the 26th. Now I am cramping and still have pms sxs but no more bleeding. I am wondering could this be normal could it be a sign of something else.

Typically I am on here telling young women to go get a pregnancy test and remeber stress can cause these things as well. I know I should take my own advice but I guess I am just scared. Besides my period has been off for a while now. Anyways I truly hope someone chimes in...thanks ahead of time.

I need help.

I had unprotected sex in November, and I had my period that month.

But this month my period is about 5 days late and I have taken 2 at home pregnancy tests that say I'm NOT pregnant. But I still haven't gotten my period and I'm afraid I might be.

Is it possible for me to be pregnant??

It can be it also can be just that you are irregular. You need to go to the doctor and get a test done to keep you from stressing. I know from experience stress can cause your period to be late. Also depending on age sometimes changes happen.

I know its hard but dont stress.

So I looked at your profile to see about age, if that could be a factor in changing periods. You are 32? I noticed that you mention MS and other autoimmune diseases. Are you on medications for this? I am thinking of Prednisone, or other steroids, in particular. The start of Prednisone was also the start of irregular periods for me. And on a high dose I have completely stopped getting my period for a few months now. Sadly it seems that many doctors are not aware of the effect it can have on our cycles. I believe immuno suppressants might also have an effect on it depending on dose and kind. I would consider taking an at home pregnancy test just for peace of mind as well.

Yes I am 32. But I am not on any meds...I didnt even think that I needed to worry until I read that it was unusual.
Thanks for chiming in I guess I will need to get one to be honest. I feel at peace to some extent. I dont think I am pregnant, but believe I may need to get to a doctor. I had light bleeding again yesterday. I am still having some pms sxs. Alot of changes are happening in my life, and my step daughter who I usually synch up with isnt around at the same times she normally is. I am hoping that this is all playing a factor in my health concern.
