I'm really worried because my period is highly irregular. I am 18 years old and it had never been normal. So I don't really know if I should be alarmed or not. Basically, I hardly ever get my period, but I often get the moodiness and cramping that comes with it. I have heavy discharge, but I rarely bleed.
The last time I bled, it was for two days and so light.
In the last 10 months, I've gotten my period twice, both times extremely light.
I should be on my period now (I know this because I get very nauseous and moody). I only bled for one day, and lrss than a teaspoon. I wouldn't have even noticed, but the discharge during sex was slightly pink colored
I don't really know when or if I should be concerned.
Oh and the first few times I bled it was purple colored and so light nobody thought it was a "period". I don't know if that's normal or not.
I just finished reading your comments. Perhaps it's time to make an appointment with your family doctor. Take this opportunity to tell your doctor what's been happening, ask questions, I always write out my questions ahead of the doctor's visit so I don't forget what I want to ask. Be proactive. Make that appointment and get some answers. Your doctor may want to do further testing or refer you to a specialist like a gynecologist. I'm not saying this will happen. Personally, I don't know what's going on. That's why it would be a good idea to see a medical professional starting with your family doctor. Be well. Eve
