Minor cuts on my left labia minora that are causing me pain... what does this indicate? Pls help!

Im a 21 yr old virgin but masturbating. Few months ago I felt burning pain on my left labia minora whenever I urinate or as simple as just spraying water over my labia minora after urinating. At first, I thought maybe it's just a post-masturbation pain...you know. But after some time, the pain remained. And then, I thought maybe I was having some vaginal pH imbalance so I tried cleaning my vagina with feminine wash and sometimes vinegar once in a while.. but still nothing happened. So I inspected my vagina and what I've found are minor cuts (straight thin cuts) on my left labia minora that are causing me pain... What does this indicate? And what treatments are available? Pls help me! Thank you.

Ok. I will try neosporin ointment. Hope my cuts will heal soon. Thank you very much.

It will kill most of the bacteria it touches, but that's what you want.  It won't get into your vagina and kill the good bacteria there. I've never had any problem with an area after using the antibiotic. In fact, it's always had a great positive effect.

A good antibiotic cream is Neosporin. You can find it in any discount pharmacy. You don't need very much at all -- just a very thin layer. But depending on wiping and sweating you might have to apply it a few times throughout the day. Definitely put it on before you go to bed though because it will work while you sleep. I've had great luck with it on all kinds of cuts and scratches.

I dont have any antibiotic allergy. What particular topical antibiotic ointment can you suggest? Anyway, thank you for replying to my post. Your suggestion is much appreciated. :)

Whether the cuts are caused by masturbating, scratching or whatever, they are apparently the source of your discomfort. Any cut in that area will become quickly infected and cause the pain you describe. A simple solution is to apply any topical antibiotic ointment. Replace it as often as necessary, and you should start feeling better after a day. In four or five days it should be healed. Good luck.
